5.  Set the following options: 

•

  IP Address: the IP address of the host for this SNMP V1/V2 manager. Only 

requests from this address will be acted upon.  

Note

: An IP address configured to 0.0.0.0 will act as a wildcard and all 

requests will be acted upon. 

•

  Read Community: the read-only community string to allow an SNMP V1/V2c 

manager to read a SNMMP object. 

•

  Write Community: the write-only community string to allow an SNMP V1/V2c 

manager to write an SNMMP object.

Configuring Users for SNMP v3 

1.  Access the Web interface and log in. 

2.  Under Settings, select 

SNMP Manager

3.  In the 

SNMP v3 Manager

 panel, select the SNMP v3 manager to configure.
