What
are
Picasa's
system
requirements?
Picasa requires:
PC with 300MHz Pentium® processor and MMX® technology.
64 MB RAM (128MB Recommended)
50 MB available hard disk space (100MB recommended)
800 × 600 pixels, 16 bit color monitor.
Microsoft® Windows 2000, Microsoft® Windows XP or Microsoft® Vista.*
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 (recommended). If at any time you get an "unable to authenticate"
error, you should upgrade to IE 6.0 or above.
Microsoft® DirectX 7.0 or higher (8.1 ships with XP, 9.0b recommended).
Optional: 56K Internet connection speed or better (for access to any online services).
File types supported include:
Images – popular photo formats
Movies – popular video formats
To install (if not already triggered by autorun) please double click on Picasa2 CD provided, Alternative
installation is download and installation from Google’s website, after downloading please follow the
online instruction to continue the installation.
Picasa does support RAW files from most camera models. For detailed information about Picasa's

In order to send emails, order prints, or update Picasa, an Internet connection will be necessary.
If your computer does not meet the system requirements, Picasa will either not install or not run. For

or Touch Pad, Click Enter (on Remote Control) or Enter.
