Lift the pull handles 

and place them 

behind center on your 

right and left sides.

Detach the right belt 

from the left belt. 

Store your Panda brace in a safe place, taking 

care that the Velcro hook doesn’t stick to other 

fabrics.

Holding the left 

belt against your 

stomach, place the right 

belt on the left belt at a 

snug compression.

Loosen the pull handles and place them as shown. 

Then, pull the belt ends to extend the belt.

These instructions contain general guidelines for using and caring for your Panda brace. If your physician's 

specific orders differ in any way, those orders must supersede these guidelines.

If you experience pain or swelling while wearing your Panda brace, immediately contact your prescribing 

physician.

Your Panda brace is ready to be worn off-the-shelf (OTS). Customization should only be performed by a medical 

professional.

PUTTING YOUR BRACE ON

TAKING YOUR BRACE OFF

Position the brace 

so it is centered and 

comfortably aligns with 

your spine's curve.

Pull both handles 

forward to tighten 

the brace to the desired 

compression. Then press 

them down on the Velcro 

in front.

TIPS FOR WEARING

Wear a cotton t-shirt or similar garment under the 

brace. 

If you visit the restroom frequently, you might choose 

to wear the Panda outside your clothing. 

If putting the brace on as suggested is diffi cult for 

you, an alternative method is to lay the brace fl at on 

the bed and lie face up on top of it. This will make it 

easier to tighten.
