Screw tightening
• The screws and bolts must be tightened
with an appropriate tightening torque
according to the material and strength of
the installation area.
• Do not use an impact driver. Use of an
impact driver may damage the screws or
cause excessive tightening.
• Tighten screws at a right angle to the sur-
face. After tightening screws, perform checks
to ensure that the tightening is sufficient
enough so that there is no movement or
looseness.
Procure fixing screws separately.
The screws that secure this product are not
supplied. Prepare them according to the mate-
rial and strength of the area where the product

Influence on sound quality
Under the following conditions, sound quality
may deteriorate.
• Depending on the installation environment,
the microphone may be dirty due to dust in
the air, and sound quality may deteriorate.
Cautions when installing
• The sound collecting performance of the
microphone depends on the distance
between the sound source and the micro-
phone. As a guide, sound collection is via-
ble up to about 6 m away from a sound
source in an environment where the sur-
rounding noise volume is 65 dB.
• Because the microphone collects 360°
audio and calculates directionality, install
on a flat surface away from obstacles such
as pillars, shelves, and walls, or speakers
and air conditioners installed on ceilings as
much as possible.
• Because the microphone detects tempera-
ture and corrects directionality, tempera-
ture correction may not operate correctly
when exposed to direct sunlight. Avoid
installing the microphone in locations
where it can be exposed to direct sunlight.
