Configure the camera settings such as image quality and brightness, etc. [Camera]

The following are descriptions of how to configure the settings relating to images such as brightness, etc.
[Brightness]
17 steps (–8 - 8) are available for brightness. "–8" is the
darkest and "8" is the brightest.
Default:
0
[White balance]
Select the white balance adjustment method from the
following.
AUTO:
Adjusts the white balance automatically.
HOLD:
Fixes to the white balance applied when the
[SET] button is clicked.
Default:
AUTO
[Aperture level]
9 steps (–4 - 4) are available for aperture level (sharp-
ness). "–4" is the softest and "4" is the sharpest.
Default:
0
[Flicker-less mode]
Select "ON" or "OFF" to determine whether or not to use
the flicker-less mode. Normally, select "OFF". When
using the camera under fluorescent lamps and flickers
appear, select "ON".
Default:
OFF
[Sensitivity up]
Select the sensitivity from the following.
OFF:
Does not use the sensitivity adjustment.
[x2]:
Adjusts the sensitivity up to x2 automatically.
[x4]:
Adjusts the sensitivity up to x4 automatically.
[x8]:
Adjusts the sensitivity up to x8 automatically.
[x16]:
Adjusts the sensitivity up to x16 automatically.
Default:
OFF
Important:
When the sensitivity is incremented, the refresh
interval may be longer.
[Backlight compensation (BLC)]
Select "ON" or "OFF" to determine whether or not to
compensate backlight.
ON:
Compensates backlight. (Suitable when the subject
has backlight.)
OFF:
Does not compensate backlight. (Suitable when
the subject has light in the front.)
Default:
OFF
[Light control (ALC/ELC)]
Select "ALC" or "ELC" for light control according to the
lens in use.
ALC:
Select this when an auto iris lens (DC) is in use.
ELC:
Select this when a fixed iris lens is in use.
Default:
ALC
Important:
• When "ELC" is selected, "ON" for "Flicker-less
mode" will be unavailable.
• Video servo type lenses are not supported.
• When "ON" is selected for "Flicker-less mode", sen-
sitivity may be decremented.
