3.2. Setting Up for EVR Adjustment
(1) Preparation

(2) Connection for EVR Adjustment Kit

Referring to Fig. 3-1, connect the Cable of EVR
Adjustment Kit to CN2 on the EVR Interface Board.

Connect CN1 on the EVR Interface Board to CN5 on the
I/F Board of WV-CF102.

Connect the connector of the EVR Adjustment Kit to the
Parallel Port of Personal Computer.

Connect the 12 V DC Power Supply Unit to the EVR
Adjustment Kit.
3.3. Setting Up

An initial setting of the Dip Switch SW5 on the I/F Board
as follows.
Back Light Compensation Selector
(BLC ON,OFF) ............................................................OFF
Adaptive Black Stretch Selector
(B.S. ON,OFF) ............................................................OFF
Simple Day/Night Mode Selector
(D/N ON,OFF) .............................................................OFF

The adjustments should be done with this initial setting,
uniess otherwise specified.

The adjustments should be done after 10 minutes warm
up.
3. Connection and Setting Up for
Adjustment
3.1. Connection

The Fig. 3-1 shows the connecting diagram for the
Adjustment Procedure.

Connect the Underscanned Colour Video Monitor to
the Video Output Connector of WV-CF102 through the
Vectorscope by using the coaxial cables.

Terminate the input terminal of the Underscanned Colour
Video monitor with 75
Ω
.

Connect the 12 V DC Power Supply Unit to the Power
Cable of WV-CF102.
8
Connect the Personal Computer to WV-CF102 through
the EVR Adjustment Kit and the EVR Interface Board.

Connect the probe of the Oscilloscope or Frequency
Counter at the desired Test point in each adjustment
step.
