Monitor Out

41

The Monitor Out terminals reproduce the signals currently on the television screen. The on-screen signals
could be a television programme or signals connected to one of the AV inputs.

The Monitor Out facility can be used to
allow one video source (videotape,
videodisc etc.) to be connected to more
than one television. Connect the Monitor
out from this television to the AV Input of
the second television.

If a video recorder is connected to the
Monitor  Out and video sources are
connected to one or more of the AV
inputs, the television becomes a visual
display for tape editing or copying.

NOTES:

Make sure that the Scart adaptor is switched to OUT.

Never connect the same video recorder or other device to both the VIDEO IN and MONITOR OUT
terminals of this television as this could cause incorrect operation.

Audio Out

The Audio Out terminals allow you to connect the television to an amplifier of audiocassette recorder.
