Special Servicing Procedure
Self Check Function
SELF CHECK is used to automatically check the Bus lines and Hexadecimal code of the TV set.
Contents of the Self Check is as follows.
1. Confirmation result for IC function
2. Protection Information
Procedure
1. Simultaneously push the OFF TIMER button [ ] on the remote control and the VOLUME DOWN button [ - ]
on the TV set.
2. The TV enters the self-check mode and the result are displayed on the screen .
3. Press power button on the front panel or remote controller to clear the self-check mode and return to the nor-
mal state.
How to replace memory IC (IC1102)
Many data which control circuit on the TV set are memorized in Memory IC (IC1211).
1. Change the defective memory IC to replacement IC.
IC1102 parts number : TVRJ292
2. Turn the TV set ON, and perform SELF CHECK Function.
3. When exiting SELF CHECK Mode the customer setting will return to factory setup.
4. Confirm the correct Deflection and White Balance adjustment.
