Insert/Remove the smart card.
Inserting the smart card

Align the smart card so that the location of the contact is as shown in the figure on
the left, and then insert the card all the way into the slot.
Removing the smart card

Press the eject button, and then press the button again.
The smart card will come out of the slot a little bit.

Slide the smart card out.

Close the cover until it clicks into place.

Lock the cover by sliding the latch to the left.
Do not remove the card immediately after inserting it. If you do so, the card may
not be recognized when it is inserted the next time. If this happens, remove the
card, and then insert it again.
CAUTION
Remove the smart card only with the eject button. If you pull the smart card
without using the eject button, it may cause damage to the reader contact.
CAUTION
The specifications for everything else other than the PC Card slot and smart card slot are the same as those for the following
models.
