Tips to ensure proper operation
Do not pass the following kinds of water through the product.
(Doing so will significantly shorten the cartridge life.)
●
Very cloudy water
●
Water with a high red rust content
Do not install the water purifier at an angle to the faucet as shown in
the figure below.
(The main unit may come into contact with the faucet, making its installation impossible.)

Immediately after installing the product or replacing its cartridge, pass
about 6 liters of water (this will take about 3 minutes) through the
product with the selector lever at the “Purified” setting.
(This is done to expel the air inside the cartridge.)
●
Air bubbles may collect in the cartridge life indicator (window area) or a whistling
sound may be heard. This happens because the air inside the cartridge is being
expelled: It is normal and not an indication that something is wrong with the product.
Do not remove the cartridge except to replace it.
(The display that indicates the cumulative total amount of water that has passed
through the product will be cleared, and you will no longer know when the cartridge
should be replaced.)
The temperatures of the water that can be used with this product are
shown in the table below.
Do not allow the temperatures to exceed these levels.
(Use of water with a temperature exceeding the levels indicated in the table
below may result in malfunctioning. At the “Purified” setting, it may also cause the
substances absorbed in the cartridge’s activated carbon to be released.)
