Issue: There are different versions of 2009 LCD models. If the incorrect model is used when performing
service, parts may be ordered that are incompatible with the repair unit. Please use this Hint to
determine the correct model number to use for service purpose only.
Action: The Manufacturing ID number should be used when ordering replacement parts. There are three
locations where the Manufacturing ID number appears:
1. on the model/serial number sticker on the side of the TV,
2. on the model Name Plate on the rear of the unit, and
3. on the travel tag on the carton.
NOTE: Parts from original version models are not compatible with N-version models.
When an N-version A-board or Panel is replaced, the adjustment procedure on the
following page must be performed.
The model/serial number sticker on the side of the TV is different on original versions than new “N”
versions. The original version has the model number while the N version has the manufacturing ID.
