HOW TO USE
-7-
1. Measure rice with the Measuring Cup provided. One cup of uncooked rice makes approximately
3 cups of cooked rice. Rinse the rice in a separate bowl until water is relatively clear.
NOTE: To avoid scratches, do not wash the rice in the Pan.
2. Pour the washed rice into the Pan. Add water according
to the Water Level Indicator on the Pan.
(For example: To cook ‘15’ cups of rice, add water to
Water Level Indicator ‘15’.)
3. Place the Pan into the Body. Make sure that the Pan is directly
in contact with Cast Heater by turning it slightly to the right and
to the left until it sits properly in order to avoid overflow or
uncooked rice. Cover with the Lid and let the rice soak
approximately 30 minutes for better rice cooking.
The Water Level Indicator of the
Pan is for reference. Adjust the
amount of water to your personal
taste. Level the rice evenly after
water adjustment is completed.
NOTE: Do not cook less than
minimum specified capacity
(Refer to Specification table
on page 10).
4. Attach the Socket to the Cooker Socket and plug in to power supply source. Power Indicator
Lamp will light up immediately.
5. Press the Switch Button down. RICE COOKING Indicator will change to orange colour
indicating that cooking has started.
6. When the rice has been cooked, the Switch Button will pop up automatically. KEEP WARM
Indicator will change to orange colour indicating KEEP WARM function has started.
7. After the Switch Button pops up, leave the Lid covered for at least 15 minutes to steam the rice.
Then, mix the rice well by using a rice scoop(not provided) to allow water vapor to escape
(especially when cooking towards maximum quantity).
Note: When serving rice, be sure to use a plastic or wooden rice scoop. Do not use a metal
scoop, spoon or spatula, nor place spoons, forks, rice bowls and such in the Pan.
8. Unplug from power supply source after use.
(Grasp at Plug, not Cord.)
