Steps to enjoy the high sound quality of
“ELS Surround System”
Assemble and install speakers
This system incorporates a center speaker array in each of its front speakers.
Using a unique system from Panasonic that reflects the principles of auditory psychology, the sound
seems to come from within the TV screen, letting you enjoy sound and images with a heightened sense
of integration.
Connect
Connect the speakers and subwoofer to the receiver.
(Turn the subwoofer “ON” and set the volume to near center.)
Connect each device such as TV and DVD recorder to the receiver.
You can enjoy DVD with excellent sound and image quality.
Choose Speaker Position
The ELS Surround speakers can be used with the supplied stands on the floor or mounted on the wall.
Choose from the receiver menu the position of each of the loudspeakers, either as “FLOOR” standing or
“WALL” mounted. The receiver parameters then will be optimized for each speaker.
Perform Auto Speaker setting
With the supplied measuring microphone, use the “Auto Speaker” setting to measure the distance to the
listening position and output levels of each channel and then automatically adjust the receiver
parameters.
This creates a suitable environment to reproduce ELS Surround sound.
You can now enjoy a wonderful ELS Surround sound experience with the Panasonic SC-ELS10.
Recommendations for Wall Mounted speakers
1. The front left and right ELS loudspeakers should be at least 70 inches (5 feet, 10 inches) apart.
2. or a minimum of 10 inches from the edge of your 50 inches or larger flat panel display. This is so you
experience wide stereo imaging and minimize acoustic reflections from the edge of the display.
Enjoy music or movies
You can enjoy TV and DVD with ELS Surround Sound.
If you desire, can use Dolby Pro Logic
