9.25. Replacement of Switch

Regulator IC (IC5701)

Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 4) of Item 9.24

Step 1 Desolder pins of the switch regulator IC (IC5701) on the
reverse side of SMPS P.C.B..

Step 2 Remove 1 screw from the switch regulator IC (IC5701).

Step 3 Remove the switch regulator IC (IC5701) from the heat
sink A.

Caution: Handle the heat sink A with caution due to its
high temperature after prolonged use. Touching it may
lead to injuries.

Note : Refer to the diagrams of SMPS P.C.B. (Item 19.6.) for
location of the part.

9.25.1. Assembly of Switch Regulator IC

(IC5701)

Step 1 Apply grease to the heat sink A.

Step 2 Fix and screw the switch regulator IC (IC5701) to the
heat sink A.

Special Note: Ensure the switch regulator IC (IC5701) is tightly
screwed to the heat sink A.

Step 3 Solder pins of the switch regulator IC (IC5701) on the
reverse side of SMPS P.C.B..
