C) DUST BIN FILTER CHANGING AND CLEANING

Check primary filter frequently and clean when dirty. Remove the dust bin assembly as outlined in the DUST BIN CLEANING
section and empty contents of dust bin.

To remove primary filter, open dust bin lid assembly as outlined in the
DUST BIN CLEANING section.

While holding primary filter over a trash container grasp filter, rotate
counter-clockwise and remove from filter support.

Cean primary filter by gently tapping over a trash container. Tap on
several sides to ensure best cleaning.

CAUTION: 

Make sure dust bin is empty before filter is

removed.

CAUTION:

Rinse with water only, do not use detergent or soap.

Allow filter to dry 24 hours before putting it

back into the dust bin. When the cleaning of the filter no longer restores vacuum cleaner suction to full
power you need to replace the filter. 

Before replacing the primary filter it is a good idea to clean the inside of the dust bin.

CAUTION: 

When cleaning filter, do not use brush or other

simular tools that would damage the filter itself. 

Simply tap the filter on the edge of cap for normal dry cleaning.

For more thorough cleaning, rinse outside of filter with water and allow to dry thoroughly before reuse in vacuum cleaner.

Rotate filter clockwise until slots lock onto tabs in lid.

After the dust bin is empty of debris, firmly close the door.
Make sure you hear a  “click” sound to indicate that the door
is fully latched.

D) CLEANING SECONDARY FILTER SCREEN

The secondary filter screen protects the motor.

Always check filter screen when cleaning dust bin.

If dirty or clogged, remove debris from filter screen.

E) EXHAUST FILTER MAINTENANCE

Press Release Tab

The exhaust filter removes dirt from recirculated air. 

Check filter after emptying dust bin.

To remove, press release tab and rotate off.

Grasp the exhaust filter and pull out to remove.

When replacing the exhaust filter, ensure foam edge of the
filter is facing towards the vacuum cleaner when placing
filter into filter compartment. Push only on filter frame. 

Reinstall exhaust filter cover by snapping into place.

IMPORTANT - Filter cannot be cleaned and should be
replaced at least once each year.
