REPLACEMENT OF MAIN PARTS

BEATER BAR THERMAL CUT-OUT / ON /OFF
SWITCH / OVER-CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKER /
SAFETY SWITCH
(1) Beater bar Thermal cut-out
1. Remove base plate as explained previously in paragraph (1)
"Beater bar unit", points 1-4.
2. Take out beater bar assembly and remove the thermal
cut-out from the beater bar support. (Fig. 9)
3. Replace thermal cut-out with a new one.
4. Insert the new thermal cut-out in the beater bar support and
place beater bar assembly into place.
5. Reinstall base plate and connect the lead wires according to
the schematic diagram. Then reassemble the remaining
parts in the reverse order.

(3) Beater bar Over-current circuit breaker
1. Remove base plate as explained previously in paragraph
(1) "Beater bar unit", points 1-4.
2. Take out beater bar over-current circuit breaker and rem
ove the two lead wires (provided with quick-connect
terminal) from the circuit tabs. (Fig. 11)
3. Replace beater bar over-current circuit breaker with a new
one and connect the two lead wires to the circuit tabs.
4. Reinstall it in its lodging and reassemble the base plate.
5. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram
and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.
(2) Beater Bar ON/OFF Switch
1. Remove base plate as explained previously in paragraph
(1) "Beater bar unit", points 1-4.
2. Take out beater bar ON/OFF switch and remove the two
lead wires (provided with quick-connect terminal) from the
switch tabs. (Fig. 10)
3. Replace the beater bar ON/OFF switch with a new one and
connect the two lead wires to the switch tabs.
4. Reinstall it in its lodging and reassemble the base plate.
5. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram
and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.

(4) Beater bar Safety switch
1. Remove base plate as explained previously in paragraph
(1) "Beater bar unit", points 1-4.
2. Take out beater bar safety switch and remove the two lead
wires from the switch tabs. (Fig. 12)
3. Replace beater bar safety switch with a new one and
connect the two lead wires to the switch tabs.
4. Reinstall it in its lodging and reassemble the base plate.
5. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram
and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.
