Motor fails to rotate
(no noise is heard at all)

Power supply cord

Check power supply cord continu-
ity.

If there is no continuity, replace the
cord reel patition unit.

Fuse of P.C.B. Ass’y
(125V, 15A)

Check fuse continuity.

If there is no continuity, replace
P.C.B. Ass’y.

Motor continuity

Check the conduction between the
terminals of the motor.

If there is no continuity, replace the
or motor.

ON/OFF

Switch

Check continuity across switch
connections

If there is no continuity, replace
P.C.B. Ass’y.

Power supply cord

Check power supply cord continu-
ity.

If there is no continuity, replace the
cord reel patition unit.

P.C.B. Ass’y

Check the internal parts for any-
thing unusual. (burn-out, melt-
down, etc.)

If anything is found unusual,
replace the P.C.B. assembly with
new one.

Motor runs but there is no suction Hose or Suction inlet, Extension

wand and nozzle

Check whether or not the specified
components are clogged with for-
eign substances.

If there is any blockage, remove it.

Dust bog / Secondary filter

Check if dust bag is full or Second-
ary filter is choked up.

If dust bag is foll, replace with a
new one. If Secondary filter is
choked up, remove and clean it out

If there is dust accumulated in the
motor fan, replace the motor and
check filter condition. (never try to
dismantle the motor fan)

The motor output cannot be
changed.
(The motor always rotates at full
speed.)

P.C.B. ass’y

Check whether or not T1 and T2 of
the Triac on the P.C.B. ass'y are
short-circuited.

If they are short-circuited, then
replace the P.C.B. ass'y.

The motor output cannot be
switched.

• The MIN/MAX cannot be

switched.

• The switch cannot be turned on.
• The motor always rotates at the

MIN speed.

Switch and the limit switch on
the P.C.B. Ass'y

Verify the conductivity of both
switches.

If any of the switches is not conduc

-

tive, then replace the switch or the
P.C.B. Ass’ y (with a limit switch)
