in LUMIX cameras. Each of these sophisticated lens systems includes several aspherical lenses to
compensate for spherical aberration. And each features an advanced multi-coating process that is

The imaging power of LUMIX has evolved even further. Improved circuitry greatly
reduces picture noise while preserving exceptional resolution, sharpness and color
reproduction. The new Venus Engine V also introduces a new circuit that makes Face
Recognition possible. And the Venus Engine HD boasts two CPUs which achieve
the long-time HD motion picture recording in AVCHD Lite (MPEG-4/H.264) while
maintaining low power consumption.

The expressiveness of a wide-angle lens lies in its ability to capture spatial expanse and
depth. When you want to shoot a sweeping landscape or fi t all your friends in a photo when
there isn't much room, there's nothing like a wide-angle lens. For example, the photo area
of the 25mm wide-angle lens in the ZR, TZ and FX Series is about 196% that of an ordinary
35mm lens. The world's fi rst 0.3-mm super-thin aspherical lens on the ZR1 fi ts a 25mm
wide-angle lens and 8x optical zoom into a conveniently slim body.

Shoot HD (High-Defi nition) Motion Images with Ease
LUMIX cameras (FZ35/TZ7/FT1) make it even easier to take HD (1280 x 720) motion images by
adding a movie button and AVCHD Lite, which lets you take beautiful, long-time HD movies.
You can also use the iA mode to shoot motion images, and let the camera do all the work for
you. This user-friendly mode automatically selects the most suitable Scene mode and helps
correct blurring, focus and brightness problems. All you do is aim and shoot. iA is the easy way
to capture beautiful HD movies.
