Advanced (Recording pictures)

Using these modes, the pictures can be made sharper or softer, the colors of the pictures
can be turned into sepia colors or other color effects can be achieved.

Note
• When you take pictures in dark places, noise may become visible. To avoid noise, we
recommend setting to [NATURAL].
• You cannot set [NATURAL], [VIVID], [COOL] or [WARM] in Auto Scene Mode.
• In Auto Scene Mode, you can set this mode separately.

This gives an effect where the blurring associated with the motion of a camera or its
subject is reduced.

Note
• Not enough reduction may be achieved depending on the recording conditions or subject
conditions.
• It is not activated during Burst recording.
• It is not activated during motion picture recording.
• It may take a long time to save an image.
[COLOR MODE]
[STANDARD]

This is the standard setting.
[NATURAL]
:
The picture becomes softer.
[VIVID]
:
The picture becomes sharper.
[B/W]
:
The picture becomes black and white.
[SEPIA]

The picture becomes sepia.
[COOL]

The picture becomes bluish.
[WARM]

The picture becomes reddish.
[STABILIZER]

The
[STABILIZER]
function is activated when all of the following conditions
are met during the recording.
– Flash is not activated
– Shutter speed is in the range of 1/4 to 1/60
– ISO sensitivity is [ISO800] or lower
– Self-timer is not used
– Tripod is not used
