6 Work with files
1. In the “Marking settings” screen, select “Save” > “To laser marking system” to update
(overwrite) the current file on the laser marking system.
If you configured a counter, you can choose between updating or not updating the
current counter value in the laser marking system.
2. In the dialog, check if the file is assigned to the correct number.
3. Select “OK”.
The marking file is now saved on the laser marking system.

Transfer a marking file from your PC to the laser marking system
To transfer a marking file from your PC to the laser marking system, establish an online
connection and add the file to the list in “Data management” > “Marking files”.
You must save the marking file to the laser marking system before you can perform the
marking process. Up to 10000 marking files can be stored in one laser marking system.
If you add a marking file that contains graphic files (VEC, DXF, BMP, JPEG, HPGL, or TTD
files), they are automatically added to the list in “Data management” > “Graphic files”.
There are two different ways to save a marking file on the laser marking system. Use the
“Data management” screen to save the marking file. Alternatively, open the marking file on
the “Marking settings” screen and save it to the laser marking system.

To save a marking file on the laser marking system, add the file to the list in “Data
management” > “Marking files”.
1. Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2. Go to the “Data management” screen and select “Marking files”.
