Select “Yes” to start laser pumping.
After a few seconds, laser pumping is completed and the status icon of the “Laser
pumping” tool changes.

Select “Test marking” to open the “Test marking/guide laser” dialog.

In the dialog, specify new values for the laser settings.
You can change the laser power, scan speed, pulse cycle (LP-RF, LP-RV) or pulse
duration (LP-RV). The changes will be transferred to the parameters in the “Laser
settings” tab.
Take appropriate protective measures during laser radiation such as wearing laser
protective goggles or using a protective enclosure.

Select “Start marking” to trigger the laser radiation.
A confirmation dialog appears.

Select “Yes” to start laser radiation.
The shutter opens automatically and marking starts.
During a marking process, you can select “Stop marking” to terminate the test
marking.
LP-RC: Warning E640 may occur, if laser pumping was off for several days. In this
case, repeat the test marking process.

Guide laser
The guide laser is used to check the marking position. The available guide laser functions
depend on the model of your laser marking system.
• If the LASER STOP IN or INTERLOCK inputs on the TERMINAL connector are open,
guide laser radiation is still possible by PC configuration software.
• If you want to use the guide laser in remote mode (controlled by an external device),
but cannot start the guide laser because the INTERLOCK alarm is output (for example
because a maintenance door was opened), you can deactivate this alarm as long as the
