• “Number of filling lines”:
Specify the number of filling lines per module.
• “Filling line spacing [mm]”:
The filling line spacing value is displayed. The value is calculated based on the specified
number of filling lines and module line length settings.
• “Module marking direction (horizontal)”, “Module marking direction (vertical)”:
Specify the direction in which the filling lines are drawn during the marking process.
‒ If “Horizontal line” or “Horizontal raster” is selected, the following options are
available: “Left to right”, “Right to left”, “Alternate”.
‒ If “Vertical line” or “Vertical raster” is selected, the following options are available:
“Top to bottom”, “Bottom to top”, “Alternate”.
For “Dot”, the following option is available:
• “Radiation period [ms]”:
Specify the radiation period. The quality of the marked code depends on the specified
radiation time. Always check the quality and readability of the code after changing this
parameter.
For “Circle”, the following option is available:
• “Circle diameter [mm]”:
Specify the circle's diameter.

15.13 2D code pattern font
The 2D code pattern font can be selected as filling pattern for code elements such as finder
pattern or quiet zone. The font (2DCODE.fon) is preinstalled in your laser marking system.
