2.1.3  Mailbox Parameters

Each mailbox can be edited based upon the needs of the subscriber.

Mailbox Number

Specifies the subscriber’s mailbox number. The maximum number of digits that can be used for mailbox
numbers is set by using the Set Default Parameters utility in the KX-TVA Maintenance Console or when you
initialize the system. You can also change the maximum number of digits that can be used for mailbox numbers
by entering a special command using the Commands dialog in the KX-TVA Maintenance Console (see
1.9.11.2  Changing the Maximum Length of Mailbox Numbers).

Note

The mailbox number can only be set when adding a mailbox; when editing a mailbox, you cannot
change the assigned mailbox number.
