Problem
Cause/solution
I cannot receive SMS
messages even though
the phone has enough
memory.
●
Some kinds of SMS messages
can be received only by the SIM
card. Check the memory status of
the SIM card (page 47) and erase
unnecessary SMS messages
(page 28).
I cannot receive E-mail
messages.
●
This phone only supports SMS/
MMS message services. Contact
your network operator/service
provider for details of this service.
Liquid or other form of
moisture has entered
the phone/charger.
●
Disconnect the AC adaptor from
the phone/charger. Remove the
SIM card, microSD card, and
battery from the phone and leave
to dry for at least 3 days. After the
phone/charger are completely dry,
insert the SIM card, microSD card,
and battery into the phone. Then
reconnect the AC adaptor to
charge fully before use. If the
phone does not work properly,
contact your place of purchase or
nearest Panasonic service centre.
Caution:
●
To avoid permanent damage, do not use a microwave oven
to speed up the drying process.
