To enter names and symbols
The dialing buttons (
[0]
to
[9]
) can be used to enter letters and symbols. Pressing
each button selects a character as shown below.
• To enter another character using the same dialing button, press
[ ]
to move the cursor to
the next space.
• If you make a mistake while entering a name, use
[ ]
or
[ ]
to move the cursor to the
incorrect character, press
[
]
to delete and enter the correct character. Each time you
press
[
]
, a character is erased.
Dialing from the Phone Book
1. Press
[ ]
or
[ ]
to enter the Phone Book List.
2. Press
[ ]
or
[ ]
.
3. Scroll to the desired item by pressing
[ ]
or
[ ]
.
To search for a name by initial;
1: Press the dialing button for the first letter of the desired name until any name with the
same initial is displayed.
2: Press
[ ]
repeatedly until the name is displayed.
4. Lift the handset.
5. To hang up, place the handset on the cradle.
• If “
NO ITEMS STORED
” is displayed in step 1, the Phone Book is empty.
• You can exit the Phone Book List any time by pressing
[
]
.
• You can also dial the stored number as follows:
1 Lift the handset.
2 Find the desired item (above steps 1 and 2).
3 Press
[
