Using a Bluetooth
headphone
By pairing a Bluetooth headphone to the handset,
you can enjoy hands-free conversations when
talking over the phone.
Important:
R
Your Bluetooth headphone must support the
Hands Free Profile (HFP) specification.
R
Up to 4 Bluetooth headphones can be paired to
the handset.
R
Only 1 Bluetooth headphone can be used with
the unit at a time.
R
For best performance, we recommend using
your Bluetooth headphone within 3 m (10 feet)
of the handset. The handset can communicate
with Bluetooth headphones within an
approximately 10 m (33 feet) range without any
obstacles or line of sight.
Turning Bluetooth feature on/off
Once this feature is turned on, the Bluetooth

button is enabled for use and the handset
can perform other Bluetooth functions. The default

Pairing a Bluetooth headphone to the
handset
Important:

Refer to the headphone’s operating instructions.
If your headphone PIN is not

the Bluetooth PIN beforehand (page 18).

Bluetooth headphone:
Set your headphone to pairing mode.

Handset:
Press and hold

for about 3 seconds.

Wait until a long beep sounds.

When
is displayed, the headphone is
available for use.
*1 Corresponding headphone number is
indicated next to the item.
Note:

In step 2, if the handset has been paired with a
maximum of 4 headphones, you can overwrite
any unwanted headphone by pressing

If you cannot pair the headphones to the
handset, make sure that the Bluetooth
headphones are not connected to another
Bluetooth device.
Connecting/disconnecting a
Bluetooth headphone
Headphones that are on can be connected
automatically with the paired handset, while
headphones that are off will be disconnected from
the handset.
If the headphones do not connect automatically or
if you want to use them with another Bluetooth
device, you may need to connect/disconnect them
manually.
