7.7. Check the RF Unit
7.7.1. Finding out the Defective Unit
Prepare HS Test Fixture and BU Test Fixture. Place the HS Test Fixture on the cradle of the base
unit for checking, then confirm that they are linked. Place the handset for checking on the cradle
of the BU Test Fixture, then confirm that they are linked. How to confirm the link is as follows;
press the TALK button and confirm Handset in use is displayed on BU LCD.
7.7.2. Check Items
The headset Jack has been wired as a switch to control Normal and Test modes on this “HS Test
Fixture”.
7.7.2.1. Handset Test Fixture for Base Unit
Test Fixture has two mode.
1. TEST mode:
Use test fixture without headset plug inserted. / Then Test fixture
is in TEST mode.
2. Normal mode:
Plug headset plug into headset jack. / Then Test fixture is in
Normal mode.
NOTE:
Audio is coming from Receiver whether headset plug is inserted or
