Enter your access number up to 32 digits.

If you enter a wrong number, press
BACK
. Digits are erased from the right.

The display will return to the function list.
To return to the stand-by mode, press

or wait for 60 seconds.
To erase a stored number

You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing

Listening to Voice Mail Messages
After receiving a voice mail message, “
Voicemail
” on the display and the
VOICE MAIL indicator on the base unit will flash. To listen to your voice
mail, follow the steps below.

Press
(VOICE!MAIL)
.
•
The unit is connected to the telephone line and automatically dials
the access number.

Follow the pre-recorded instructions.

When finished, press
(TALK)
.
•
If “
Voicemail
” on the display and the VOICE MAIL indicator on the base
unit still flash even after you have listened to your voice mail message(s),
press and release
(FUNCTION/EDIT)
, then press and hold
(VOICE!MAIL)
until the unit beeps. The indicator will turn off and “
Voicemail
” on the
display will disappear.
•
Many voice mail services alert you when a new message has been
received. In such a case, you will hear a series of voice mail tones, before
the dial tone, when
(TALK)
is pressed.
•
If your voice mail service uses a voice mail tone, the tone will be heard
from any parallel connected phone. If you use another phone to retrieve
messages, you have to dial your access number manually.
