Setting the Printer Driver

Sharing the printer with a client computer:

Click on the Shared (Windows NT 4.0) check button or Shared as check
button (Windows 2000).

Type the printer name (for example: KX-P7100) in the Shared Name or
Shared as box.
NOTE
• If the shared printer is used through Windows 95 or Windows 98, the printer name must not
exceed 12 characters.

If you want to use a shared KX-P7100 printer in the network, select Network Printer in the
Select Printer Type dialog when installing the printer driver.
