2.14.1 [7-1] Denied Code
Toll Restriction (TRS)/Call Barring (Barring) prohibits an extension from making certain trunk calls.
Each time mode of every COS is assigned one of the seven TRS/Barring levels. TRS/Barring level 7
provides the maximum restriction (all trunk calls are prohibited) and level 1 provides the minimum (all
trunk calls are allowed). TRS/Barring levels 2–6 are used to restrict calls according to the codes
programmed in the

. If the leading digits of the dialled number are not found in the applicable Denied
Code Tables, the call is made.
A maximum of 100 denied codes can be programmed for each level. 20 codes are displayed at a time.
