I/O Field Modules
Three new I/O COM loop addressable field modules are
available using software ≥ V2.4.x
as shown below:
Module No.
Subassembly no. Description
1200
SUB997
Single supervised input / single relay output
1202
SUB994
Four Supervised inputs / four relay outputs
1203
SUB991
8 non-supervised inputs / 8 relay outputs
Each module can be fitted in Brooks enclosure BAFME or BAFMES however, if the
enclosure is not required the reference will be for the subassembly number as shown in
the table above.
The following are some of the field modules features:
•
Compatible with Brooks FDCIE FT1020G3 software ≥ V2.4.x and FT128 software
= V2.4.x.
•
Built-in short circuit isolator with short circuit LED indicator.
•
Fully supervised input (clean contact) via end of line resistor 10KΩ (1200 & 1202).
•
Flashing green polling LED on each module to indicate valid COM loop
communications.
•
Relay contacts output with on-board LED indicators, contact current rating is 1A.
•
Plug-in connectors to easily terminate the field wiring (1202 & 1203).
•
All inputs and outputs are fully programmable via EBLWin configuration tool.
•
Low supervising voltage for inputs (3.3 V), only 1200 & 1202.
•
All modules conform to AS ISO 7240.18:2018 and AS ISO 7240.17:2015
All units are programmed using the Addressing Tool 4414 or 4414E, the 1203 require
24VDC to be applied in order to address the module. All modules are required to be
addressed in the “
Advanced Mode
”. These units must also be configured with EBLWin ≥
V2.4.x for the FDCIE to recognise them.
5.6.1
1200 Module – SUB997
The module is a single supervised input / single relay output as shown in Figure 17 below
Used where a single device needs to be triggered (output) and a return signal is required
to report that the action has been carried out (input), e.g. a sprinkler flow switch.
Figure 17 Single I/O 1200 connection and SUB997 PCB
The 1200 module or SUB997 requires only
one address
on the COM loop. The relay type
in this module is a latching relay which reduces the current consumption supplied by the
COM loop. The relay must be restored to the normal status i.e. reset.
