remote controller or insert a cassette tape in this mode. The VCR will
return to normal operation mode.
4.2.3. EEPROM IC (IC6004), MAIN C.B.A. REPLACEMENT NOTE
After replacing EEPROM IC (IC6004) or Main C.B.A., be sure to perform the "PG SHIFTER
ADJUSTMENT".

4.2.4. GROUNDING FOR ELECTROSTATIC BREAKDOWN
Prevention
1. Human body grounding
Use the antistatic wrist strap to discharge the static electricity from
your body.
2. Work table grounding
Put a conductive material (sheet) or steel sheet on the area where the
optical pickup is placed and ground the sheet.
Caution:
The static electricity of your clothes will not be groundedthrough the
wrist strap. So take care not to let your clothestouch the optical pickup.

4.2.5. METHOD FOR EJECTING THE DVD TRAY MANUALLY
1. Insert a Screwdriver or similar object into the Eject hole.
2. Press it gently, and then pull the Tray fully out.
