Connecting

Turn the computer off.
Do not connect the Mini Port Replicator
in standby or hibernation mode.

Connect the Mini Port Replicator to the
connector of the computer with "This side
up" facing upwards.
Disconnecting

Turn the computer off.
Do not disconnect the Mini Port Replicator in
standby or hibernation mode.

While pushing the Mini Port Replicator's
lock button, pull the Mini Port Replicator out
straight.
You cannot use the LAN port or the external display port on the computer when the
Mini Port Replicator is connected to the computer. Connect the LAN cable, the ex-
ternal display cable, or the AC adaptor to the ports or jack on the Mini Port Replica-
tor.
If devices connected to USB ports (2a, 2b, 2c) does not operate:
· In the case of devices with consumption voltage exceeding 100 mA, or devices for
which the consumption voltage cannot be con
fi
rmed, connect via USB port 1 or
the computer’s USB port.

Try disabling the power saving function on the USB 2.0 hub. For information
about enabling/disabling the power saving function, refer to the computer’s Oper-
ating Instructions.
When you use the computer that [USB Port] is displayed in [Advanced] menu of the
Setup Utility, con
fi
rm that [USB Port] is set to [Enable].
