featherweight unit uses a large-diameter lens
and 3-CCD image sensor to deliver the high
recording quality needed for advanced
applications. Use of ubiquitous mini-DV
cassettes provides convenience, a new
shoulder-type design improves shooting
stability, and a host of manual functions offers
outstanding creative content control. An
IEEE1394 “Firewire” terminal lets you upload
images to a PC, and the AG-DVC10 can also
perform digital dubbing onto a DV recorder.
Add high-performance options such as a wide
angle conversion lens and large-capacity, long-
lasting battery, and the AG-DVC10 is fully
equipped for professional field use.
Sensational 3-CCD Picture Quality
The AG-DVC10's 3-CCD camera section meshes perfectly
with the high-performance VTR section. A large light-
collecting area for each of the 270,000 pixels gives the
camera a high S/N ratio, outstanding sensitivity, and wide
dynamic range. Double-density pixel distribution and a
gapless dichroic prism help assure razor-sharp images with
extremely faithful colors. The result is that even subtle color
differences are clearly distinguished between lighter and
darker reds.
