Chapter 4 Operation — Menu settings
[CH4 LIMITER]
Enables/disables the limiter when the method to adjust the audio input level for audio channel 4 is manual.
The items that can be set are as follows.

[ON], [OFF]
(Factory setting: [OFF])
[HEAD ROOM]
Sets the headroom (standard level).
The items that can be set are as follows.

[12dB], [18dB], [20dB]
(Factory setting: [20dB] (when [AREA SETTINGS] is [AREA 1]/[AREA 2]/[AREA 3]), [18dB] (when [AREA SETTINGS] is [AREA 4]))
[OUTPUT SETTINGS]
[AUDIO OUT]
Sets the audio channel and the format to output from the <AV OUT> terminal, the headphone terminal, and the built-in speaker.
If [AUDIO OUT] is assigned to the USER button, pressing the USER button switches the setting.
When [CH1]/[CH2]/[CH1/2 STEREO]/[CH1/2 MIX] is set, toggles [CH1], [CH2], [CH1/2 STEREO], and [CH1/2 MIX] in order. When [CH3]/[CH4]/[CH3/4
STEREO]/[CH3/4 MIX] is set, toggles [CH3], [CH4], [CH3/4 STEREO], and [CH3/4 MIX] in order.
[CH1]
Outputs the signal for audio channel 1 as monaural.
[CH2]
Outputs the signal for audio channel 2 as monaural.
[CH1/2 STEREO]
Outputs the signals of the audio channel 1 and the audio channel 2 as stereo. Outputs as monaural from the built-in speaker.
[CH1/2 MIX]
Mixes the signals of the audio channel 1 and the audio channel 2 and outputs as monaural.
[CH3]
Outputs the signal for audio channel 3 as monaural. When [FILE FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD], it will operate in [CH1].
[CH4]
Outputs the signal for audio channel 4 as monaural. When [FILE FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD], it will operate in [CH2].
[CH3/4 STEREO]
Outputs the signals of the audio channel 3 and the audio channel 4 as stereo. Outputs as monaural from the built-in speaker.
When [FILE FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD], it will operate in [CH1/2 STEREO].
[CH3/4 MIX]
Mixes the signals of the audio channel 3 and the audio channel 4 and outputs as monaural. When [FILE FORMAT] is set to
[AVCHD], it will operate in [CH1/2 MIX].

[HDMI OUT CH]
Selects the audio channel to be output from the <HDMI> terminal.
[CH1/2]
Outputs the audio signals of the audio channel 1 and the audio channel 2 as stereo.
[CH3/4]
Outputs the audio signals of the audio channel 3 and the audio channel 4 as stereo.
[CH1/2/3/4]
Outputs the audio signals of the audio channels 1 to 4 as 4 channels.

[ALARM]
[BATTERY END]
Sets whether to sound the alarm when the remaining battery level is exhausted.

[MEDIA END]
Sets whether to sound the alarm when the remaining recording capacity of the memory card is exhausted.

[WARNING]
Sets whether to sound the alarm when a system error or warning occurs.
The items that can be set are as follows.

[VIDEO OUT/LCD/VF] menu
Configures the settings for the external output, the information to display in the LCD monitor or viewfinder and the output format.
[VIDEO OUT SEL]
Switches the external output destination of the audio file.
