Knee function
This function sets the compression of video signals to prevent halation in images.

General settings
Use the camera with the factory settings.

Advanced settings
Set with the [SCENE FILE] menu
→
[KNEE SETTING].
[KNEE MODE]:
Sets the operation mode of knee function ([AUTO]/[MANUAL]/[OFF]).

When [AUTO] is selected in [KNEE SETTING]
[A.KNEE RESPONSE]:
Sets the speed of response. The smaller the setting value, the faster the response speed is.

When [MANUAL] is selected in [KNEE SETTING]
[KNEE POINT]:
Sets the knee point position in 0.5% steps.
[KNEE SLOPE]:
Sets the knee inclination.

White clip function
This function sets the brightest part of video signals to be not brighter than a certain level.

[WHITE CLIP SETTING].
[WHITE CLIP]:
Turns the white clip function [ON]/[OFF]. This enables the [WHITE CLIP LEVEL] setting value when the function is [ON].
[WHITE CLIP LEVEL]:
Sets the white clip level.
