Streaming function

Starting streaming with an operation from the application software

Select the [NETWORK] menu
→
[STREAMING]
→
[START TRIGGER]
→
[RECEIVER].

Specify the IP address and the path of the unit with the application software as follows, and start streaming.

Perform an operation from the application software to stop streaming.

Only RTSP is available when starting streaming with an operation from the application software.

For details about the operations to start streaming from the application software, please see the manual for the application software.

Streaming stops when performing operations such as displaying the thumbnail screen or playing back clips on the unit.

Streaming may stop when the date/time is set while streaming.
Streaming with multicast
One streaming can be distributed to multiple receivers via supported router, etc., when the multicast function is used.

Select the [NETWORK] menu
→
[STREAMING]
→
[START TRIGGER]
→
[RECEIVER(MULTICAST)].

Select the [NETWORK] menu
→
[STREAMING], and specify [MULTICAST ADDRESS] and [MULTICAST PORT].

Set [MULTICAST ADDRESS] within following range.

IPv4: 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.254

Set [MULTICAST PORT] within the range of 1024 to 50000.

Specify the address of the unit and start streaming with the application software.
