Appendix B. Aurora H2O Ethernet Operation
B.3 User Accounts
As shipped, the Ethernet option supports two accounts:
•
Root Account
•
Operator Account
B.3.1 The Root Account
The root account allows complete configuration of the Ethernet option. This account should be used only by
experienced network administrators. Misuse of the root account could prevent connection to the Aurora H2O, or
enable unauthorized access to the Aurora H2O, or possibly expose the network to unauthorized users and exploits.
The default login credentials for the root account are:
•
Username: root
•
Password:dbps
Note:
If the root password is lost, it is necessary to perform a
Factory Reset
of the Ethernet module (see
“Connecting to an Ethernet LAN” on page 5
).
Once logged in as a root account, the
Home
page will be displayed as shown in
Figure 108
below:
