8.2. Electrical connection
The loudspeaker P 261-AMT | Event is equipped with a speakON NL4 socket at the back. The audio
signal is connected via a speakON NL4 plug using pin 1 (+) and pin 2 (-). Pin 3 and pin 4 of the
speakON NL4 plug are not tapped.
8.2.1. P 261-AMT | Event
Make the connection panel accessible. Connect
the speakON plug to the speakON socket and
lock it.
Connection cables must not be used for fi xing or suspending loudspeakers.
WARNING
To avoid damage to the connected power amplifi er, the total impedance of all connected loudspeakers
in a line must not fall below the impedance of the amplifi er.
NOTICE
The loudspeaker P 261-AMT | Event must be operated on a correctly confi gured DSP amplifi er or am-
plifi er with upstream audio DSP. The amplifi er to be used must be chosen according to the technical
data of the loudspeaker.

8.2.2. Operation on the power amplifi er
SECURING THE LOUDSPEAKER
The loudspeaker P 261-AMT | Event has an additional securing point at the back of the enclosure. An
eye bolt with an M10 thread can, for example, be screwed in here to secure the loudspeaker against
falling down by means of a safety rope.
