- REMOVE (GENTLY PULL OUT) THE PLASTIC "TAB" FROM THE BATTERY
COMPART MENT AT THE REAR OF THE REMOTE CONTROL.
- TEST THE REMOTE CONTROL BY PRESSING THE ON/ STANDBY KEY TO
CHECK THAT THE UNIT SWITCHES ON PROPERLY USING THE REMOTE CONTROL.

- THIS SET WO RKS ON NORMAL HOUSEHOLD AC -POWE R.
- MAKE SURE THE SET VOLTAGE OF THE UNIT MATCHES YOUR LOCAL
VOLTAGE.
- INSERT THE PLUG OF THE AC -CORD INTO A WALL OUTLET WITH
AC-POWE R.
- PRESS THE "ON/ STANDBY" KEY TO SWITCH “ON” THE UNIT.
- THIS UNIT IS DESIGNED TO OPERATE WITHOUT BEING TOTALLY POWE RED "OFF".
IT WILL EITHER BE "ON" OR IN "STANDBY” MODE.
- IN STANDBY MODE, THE BLUE BACK-LIGHT OF THE DIGITAL DISPLAY WILL BE DIMMED
BUT THE DISPLAY WILL SHOW THE CURRENT TIME (CLOCK FUNCTION).
- AN YTIME DURING STANDBY MODE, YOU CAN SWITCH "ON" THE UNIT BY PRESSING THE
"ON/ STANDBY" KEY (ON REMOTE CONTROL OR FRONT PANEL OF THE MAIN UNIT).
- SAVE ENERGY BY SWITCHING THE SYSTEM TO "STANDBY" MODE WH EN NOT IN USE.
