About the Power Save Mode.

After switching on your sound system the first time, the machine waits for time setting. See page 11-12 .
If power save mode is set before, power save mode is maintained after power failure.
If power save mode is set before, the machine displays "CLOCK" for a moment, and turn on PSM indicator
when connecting AC power.

The remote control is the principal means of control, but the main functions are also available on the front of the
machine.

DOWN/UP                       : To tune in stations, to
set values in programming, to fast reverse or
advance tape, CD.
PRESET               :To start play for CD and
TAPE or to select station presets and reverse play
for tape (Option: Auto Reverse only).
     PHONES jack: Headphone socket. Plugging
in a headphone switches the speakers off.

EQ button: This adjustment section lets you
adjust your system's sound to the music style

UBS button: Bass enhancement (on / off).
REC button: To start tape recording.
CLOCK button: To show the current time in the
system's display.
TIMER/SLEEP button: [SLEEP] To set the
minutes after which the system is to switch off
automatically. Press repeatedly for a time
between 90 and 10 minutes or [TIMER] To select
timer setting and to activate / deactivate timer
stand-by.
REPEAT/BAND/MODE button :To select repeat
play for a track in the CD or to select FM or AM
radio in the TUNER. Or to select tape direction
(Auto Reverse Only) in the tape. (Option)

ON/STANDBY button :To system power
ON/STANDBY.
Power save mode (Only Europe) : This mode is
implemented to reduce power consumption at
stand-by operation. At this time, all display are turn
off except stand-by mode (power save) L.E.D. (7),
SET, Clock, TIMER, Power, Function, Band (on
Remote Control Unit) buttons are available at this
mode.

To set power save mode on : During the machine is
power off status, push power button over 3 seconds. If
the machine is set to power save mode, automatically
turn to power save mode after a few seconds.
To set power save mode off : If the machine is set to
power save mode, push power button over 3 seconds at
power off condition.

VOLUME Control: To set the volume level.
      SET button: For a short pause during
recording on a tape, the CD play or to advance in
a programming (e.g. clock set).
     CLEAR button: To stop play and record or to
cancel functions.
FUNCTION button: To select TAPE, TUNER,
AUX, CD player.
      PUSH OPEN: To open or close the tape
compartment. To load / unload TAPE.
