Prior to fitting the Autovent, the power-tube has to be cooled by placing it in a

refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes. See step# 1. This can be achieved by
either placing the complete Autovent in the refrigerator or by removing the power-
tube and cooling it separately. Removal of the     spring clip releases the power-
tube.

When the power-tube is cool, place the steel piston rod, See step# 2, against a

hard surface and push it firmly back into the power-tube. If the power-tube has
been detached from the Autovent, reversing the removal process should refit it. Lift
the Autovent arm with one hand,    See step# 3, and slip the threaded steel piston
rod into the brass-knurled adjuster, which is fixed in the swivelling block. The brass-
knurled adjuster will be used later to adjust the vent closing position. see step #4.

Fit adaptor P203, using screws 447X2 to the serrated side of the black tube bracket.

See step#5.

Fit adaptor P204,using screws 447X2 to the arm bracket. See step#6.

the nuts. These screws and nuts will be used to connect the Autovent.

Fit the two ends of the Autovent to the vent and to the vent frame. See steps#

9, 10 and 11, using screws 448x2 & 421x2 and nuts 422x2.

Adjust the closing gap using the brass-knurled adjuster.See step# 12.

To assure proper functioning of the vent fit two stoppers P205 at each side of

the vent.  Centralize the vent and then insert the stoppers in the groove in the
