PA168X Phone Pre-setting and the Regular Operations by Keypad

Pre-setting used the phone keypad:
With the installation done, users can pre-setting the respective parameters that
used the phone keypad. Please refer to the below table:

Get the
current IP

Local IP
1. With handset hung or press handfree, press this button
to indicate local IP address with voice prompt.
2. If local IP address is 0.0.0.0, which indicate pa168X
phone used DHCP to get the IP address and DHCP
process failed.
3. If local IP address is 255.255.255.255, which indicate
pa168X phone used PPPoE or dial-up modem to get
the IP address and dialup failed.
Change the

4. With handset hung or press handfree, press default
password such as 1234, and press X+
LOCAL IP

according the preference of each, and set the respective parameters. Details
