Fire and Explosion Prevention

From a particle size of 500 

μ

m and below, flammable metal dusts are regarded as explosive.

Accumulated flammable dust can lead to explosive atmospheres by swirling up in machine
tools and separators. This should be considered especially in the case of light metal dusts, e.g.
aluminium and magnesium.
The machine substructure GU1 is not designed to remove an explosive atmosphere in the
working area of the complete machine.
