3) Place the speaker on to the baffle next to the cutout – close enough so you can connect the leads of the jackplate to the speaker.
4) Carefully connect the faston connectors on the end of the cables coming from the jackplate to the connectors of the speaker.
NOTE
Do not apply excess force here. If necessary wriggle the connector until it slides on.
One of the wires of the cable is marked red or via a colured line or marking – connect this wire to the connector marked with a “+” on the
speaker.
3.1) CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS ON A 212 CABINET
On the 212 cabinets there are two cable pairs, one pair for each speaker. Make sure to wire both speakers the same way (red or marked
lead to “+”). Otherwise the speakers will be out of phase and the sound will be poor.
