The Palm

Bluetooth Card
The Palm™ Bluetooth Card allows you to wirelessly connect your handheld to
devices enabled with Bluetooth technology, including other Palm™ handhelds,
mobile phones, wireless local area network (LAN) access points, laptop
computers, and printers.
You can use the Bluetooth Card to do the following:

Access the Internet
■
Check and send e-mail
■
Chat with other users
■
Collaborate on whiteboard drawings
■
Send and receive SMS (Short Messaging Service) messages
■
Send data to other users
■
Dial telephone numbers from your Address Book
■
Print information from applications that support the Send function, such as
Address Book or Datebook
■
Perform wireless HotSync
®
operations
NOTE
Use of specific Bluetooth Card features may require certain prerequisites on the
part of the user. For example, to access the Internet via a mobile phone, the user must
have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a cellular phone provider that supports data
services. Likewise, only GSM mobile phones support Address Book dialing. See the
electronic Handbook included on the CD-ROM for specific prerequisites for each
Bluetooth Card feature.
