Checklist before start-up

Start-up
After having checked all points mentioned in chapter 9.1 you can now actually start-up the crane.
Important is here that you exactly stick to the specified points to prevent any damage to the system.
Checking the motor’s sense of rotation
The sense of rotation can be easily checked by switching it briefly on and off.
Compare the sense of rotation with the one indicated on the motor (arrow).
Switching the system on
Let the system run idling for minimum 10 minutes to vent the hydraulic lines.
Checking the emergency-off switch
It is impossible to start-up the device when the emergency-off switch is being pressed.
Moving the crane into working position
Before moving the arm system into working position, make sure that nobody is in the crane’s danger zone!
The operator must stand in a place where he can overlook the crane and its movements completely, and at
the same time is not in any danger!
Observe all safety notes mentioned in the operating instructions (chapter 2).
PSM crane
Lift the crane from its support using the function 'Lift main boom'.
Slew the crane to the left and right until it reaches the respective end positions.
Check the end positions.
Caution!
Approach the end positions slowly to avoid possible collisions!
Note!
If the motor has the wrong sense of rotation this may lead to the hydraulic
pump being destructed.
