4) Place a natural fire-igniter on the pile of wood.
5) Add small pieces of wood on top of the stack
in a crossed over-type pattern.
6) Light the fire-igniter from above.
7) Close the fire door and make sure it is firmly
closed.
8) Keep the air vent open to ensure a high, bright
flame ( Fig. 2).
9) Reduce the opening of the air intake (A) (Fig. 2)
only when a good base of embers has formed.
4.3 Door side opening
Wait for the appliance to cool down.
Be very careful not to strike the ceram-
ic glass as the material is very brittle.
Once opened, support the door with
one hand to avoid excessive stresses on
the structure.
