Resident Device

A device that is assigned to a resident such as a Jane Doe’s personal

Pendant.

Room

This location is composed of a single living space that might also
incorporate a bathroom. Rooms are most of the time single or dual
occupant depending on the number of beds in the room. Facilities
most of the time care about labeling which bed is Bed A and which
one is Bed B.

Apartment

This location is composed of multiple rooms such as one or more
bathrooms, bedrooms, and or other rooms. One or more persons
can live in an Apartment. A couple occupies an Apartment mostly
when multiple people live in the same Apartment. Facilities most
of the time don't care about labeling beds.

Town House

This location is an independent building located on a facility's
campus and resembles a standard home. Normally a couple
occupies a Town House.
