Quick Start Guide
Installation
Installing into the wall
1. INSTALL ELECTRICAL BOX TO WALL
2. INSERT THE ETHERNET CABLE CONNECTOR
TO THE PD PORT PROPERLY
3. INSTALL SE-USB1-EP TO ELECTRICAL BOX
4. INSTALL WALL COVER TO SE-USB1-EP
4. INSTALL WALL COVER TO SE-USB1-EP
3. INSTALL SE-USB1-EP TO ELECTRICAL BOX

Remove the wall plate.

Insert the Ethernet cable connector
into the PD port.

Secure the switch to the box with the
supplied screws.

Mount the wall plate (wall plate not
included).
Connecting network cables

Crossover or straight-through cable:
All the ports on the switch support
Auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality. Both
straight-through or crossover cables
can be used to connect the switch
with PCs as well as other devices like
switches, hubs or router.

Category 5, 5e, or 6 UTP/STP cable:
To make a valid connection and
obtain the optimal performance,
appropriate cables corresponding
to different transmitting/receiving
speed is required. To choose a
suitable cable, please refer to the
following table.
